Backstage photographs of Tina Turner taken in 1996 as she embarked on a whirlwind publicity tour have been released.
The black and white images, which have never been seen before, were revealed after the singer died aged 83 earlier this week.
The snapshots, which were taken by British photographer Duncan Raban, documented Tina’s journey from London to Paris as she attended a series of interviews and promotional events.
She stuck to a strict work schedule filled with interviews and rehearsals, but still found time to show her more playful side.

A series of snaps showed Tina then getting straight to work with a fashion fitting in her suite at Le Crillon hotel in Paris


She stuck to a strict work schedule filled with interviews and rehearsals, but still found time to show her more playful side.

Raban gained exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Tina in February 1996 as she embarked on a whirlwind journey to promote her projects.
This included advertising for the James Bond film GoldenEye, for which she performed the theme song, as well as her Wildest Dreams Tour.
Beginning in the spring of 1996, the Wildest Dreams Tour lasted 16 months and included over 250 concert dates in Europe, North America and Australasia.
In a series of images, taken in London, the megastar could be seen preparing to leave her suite at the Hyde Park Hotel.
Her meticulous personal itinerary showed that she quickly left Heathrow for Paris, France.
The Proud Mary singer left on a private jet – during which she took the opportunity to take a quick nap by curling up under a blanket.
Another set of snaps showed Tina then getting straight to work with a fashion fitting in her suite at the Le Crillon hotel in Paris.
She proudly held corsets, fiddled with shoes, danced on the floor and made playful faces as she was squeezed into a form-fitting dress.

Throughout her travels, she is accompanied by the publicist Bernard Doherty who will remain her right arm until the day of her death.

His representatives confirmed to DailyMail.com that the hitmaker died of natural causes.
They announced the sad news of her death on May 24, saying, “With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.”
Throughout her career, Turner has won eight Grammys out of 25 nominations and three lifetime Grammy Awards.
She is survived by two of her four sons – two predeceased her – and her 67-year-old husband, Erwin Bach.
