Neve Campbell enjoys reuniting with her Scream co-stars at Emerald City Comic Con… after turning down the franchise’s latest film over money
Neve Campbell enjoyed a reunion with some of her Scream co-stars at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle this Friday.
The 49-year-old actress became a star in the franchise’s original film in 1996 and went on to star in the next four installments.
She made headlines last year when she revealed that she refused to be in the last picture, Scream VI, because of the money.
However, there is clearly no animosity between her and her old cast mates, who she chatted with on stage at the Seattle Convention Center.
Jamie Kennedy, Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard, who were all in the first Scream, joined Neve for a talk led by Veronica Valencia.

The event was titled, ‘What’s your favorite scary movie? Scream Cast Reunion’, after a famous line by the serial killer Ghostface in the first Scream.
Never revealed in an interview with deadline last year she turned down an offer to return for Scream VI because she felt her pay was insufficient.
“As a woman, I’ve had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my worth, especially when it comes to Scream,” she said.
“I felt that the offer I was offered did not match the value I brought to the franchise,” explains the 49-year-old actress.
She has been inseparable from the franchise to date, which has grossed more than $744 million cumulatively worldwide.
Courteney Cox is now the only cast member from the original film to remain with the franchise through Scream VI.
The new Scream, due out this Friday, marks the first time Courteney has made a movie in the series without Neve.
Speak against VarietyCourteney commented of the experience, “I’ve missed working with her, but I’m going to support whatever she thinks is right.”
