He Networks They are re-signing the free agent shooting guard Keon Johnson to a multiannual agreement, according to Athletic Bilbao’s Shams Charania.
Johnson was with the Nets last season after spending the past two seasons with the Clippers and Trail Blazers. The 22-year-old appeared in just five games with the Nets, where he averaged 6.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.2 minutes played.
Johnson has had a great Summer League in Las Vegas, though. In four games, Johnson is averaging 30.7 minutes and scoring 16.3 points per game on 45 percent shooting. He is also averaging 5.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
In 62 career games (12 starts) over three NBA seasons, the 6-foot-5 guard from Tennessee is averaging 5.9 points on 36.3 percent shooting with 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 14.3 minutes.
