David Fincher’s latest feature film, a big-budget drama series from Steven Knight and Shawn Levy, and an Oscar hopeful starring Annette Bening and Jodie Foster are among the notable new additions coming to Netflix in November.
Of The murdererFincher is once again teaming up with Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker will adapt Alexis Nolent’s graphic novel. The film, which premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and debuts on Netflix on November 10, stars Michael Fassbender as a shadowy, nameless assassin and stars a cast that includes Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Gabriel Polanco , Kerry O’Malley and Emiliano. Pernia, Sala Baker, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
The Hollywood Reporter‘s review of The murderer described the film as “a satisfyingly retro, location-hopping genre exercise with fisticuffs, gadgets (albeit purchased from Amazon) and smooth-talking antagonists that all play like a tongue-in-cheek parody of James Bond films.”
All the light we can’t see (Nov.2) is a serial adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning World War II novel of the same name. Created and written by prolific British writer Steven Knight (To see, Peaky blinders, Taboo, Great expectations), the series is directed by the equally busy Shawn Levy (Stranger things, Deadpool 3, The Adam Project). The four-part drama tells the story of a blind French girl and a German teenager who are forced to join the Nazis, and how their paths cross. Aria Mia Loberti, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, Louis Hofmann and Lars Eidinger star in the series.
