American comedy Detroiters was announced to debut on October 15, but the streaming giant removed it from the schedule without explanation.

The show, starring I Think You Should Leave star Tim Robinson and comedian Sam Richardson, finally hit screens only for US subscribers on October 16.

All episodes of the Comedy Central production are now available for Down Under fans through Paramount+.

Meanwhile, as of Thursday, Netflix Australia has not updated its programming to include Detroiters.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Netflix for comment.

Netflix’s scheduling issue has left some fans baffled after the streamer took to social media to announce that Detroiters would be released on October 15.

Detroiters, which debuted in 2017 on Comedy Central in the US, centers on a sleazy fictional advertising agency called Cramblin Quilt and its low-rent clients in Detroit.

Netflix has come under fire after a promised cult TV hit didn’t arrive on time. American comedy Detroiters was announced to debut on October 15, but the streaming giant removed it from the schedule without explanation.

In September, Netflix announced in a tweet that the show would be coming to the streamer in October.

‘This is an official advertisement from Cramblin Quilt Advertising! Detroiters seasons 1 and 2 are coming to Netflix on October 15!’ Netflix’s tweet said.

When the show didn’t appear on the streaming service, fans were left furious.

“The show was supposed to debut today on Netflix,” one Reddit user said Wednesday.

“It never appeared and Netflix removed its social media posts promoting the show,” they continued.

Another Reddit user claimed that the streamer was “misleading” fans.

“I sent a direct message to a Netflix customer service representative yesterday and they tried to clarify that Netflix never announced that it would be coming to their platform in the US on October 15.”

They continued: “They tried to say that the ad and tweet I saw were for countries (outside of) the US.”

Fans of the show also took to Twitter to complain.

“I never really tweet, but now I’m (here) to say that Netflix and Netflix Australia are (a joke) and horrible for not streaming to Detroiters like they said they were going to do.” one angry user tweeted.
