Netflix star Damson Idris has issued a grim warning to anyone who wants to dress up as his famous character for Halloween this year.

The actor had his breakout role playing Franklin Saint, an ambitious drug dealer in the hit show Snowfall.

However, she took to social media to warn film fans about replicating her look as she revealed the extremes she went to during filming.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, the actor, 33, confessed that during the TV show Snowfall he did not maintain his personal hygiene.

He shared: ‘To everyone who will dress up as an alcoholic Franklin tomorrow. I didn’t shower or brush my teeth when we filmed, so you know… go hard or go home.’

Damson was praised for his role on the show, which became one of FX’s highest-rated shows and earned top scores on Rotten Tomatoes (90 percent on the Tomatometer and audience score).

The first season of Snowfall, set in 1983, when America was on the brink of the crack epidemic, interweaves the stories of several characters whose lives will soon collide due to drugs.

The final season of the series is set in October 1986 and follows a civil war that threatens to wipe out the Saint family.

However, when Damson’s character became a favorite around Halloween, the actor was quick to warn his followers.
