Netflix has one last surprise in store for those who sign up for its DVD rental by mail business. in an email posted on reddit, Netflix tells customers that it will ship the bonus discs on September 29, the final shipping date for the service. Users will only have to click the link included in the email before August 29 to participate.
“After 25 years of mail-order movies, we are nearing the end of our final season,” Netflix writes. “We really appreciate you sharing movie nights with us until the very last day. Let’s have some fun for our finale!”
Netflix will choose discs based on the movies listed in a user’s movie queue, adding, “You won’t know if extra envelopes are on your way until they arrive in your mailbox.” It doesn’t seem like subscribers can keep However, extra DVDs, as Netflix still expects them, along with any other discs, to be returned by October 27, 2023.
