But Lidia still manages to investigate her fair share of gruesome deaths while navigating her new love with Jacopo Barberis (Eduardo Scarpetta).
It seems the no-nonsense protagonist has been wowing viewers, as many took to social media to rave about the streaming series.
In a Reddit thread asking for recommendations on ‘hidden gems,’ one avid fan wrote: ‘If you don’t mind subtitles, The Law According to Lidia Poeta is excellent. It is based on the life of Italy’s first female lawyer.
“At the moment only the first season (six episodes) is available, but a second season will premiere in the spring.”
