Lady Gaga has been added to the cast of the second season of the hit Netflix series on Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega as the title character.
The 38-year-old singer is currently working on the next installment in Ireland, according to Variety.
The capacity of Gaga’s role is unknown, but fans have already taken to social media to express their excitement.

The hit show stars Jenna Ortega as the title character and comes from executive producer Tim Burton.

Sources told Variety that Gaga’s role will be a cameo, despite the production team’s efforts to give the native New Yorker a more significant role.
Wednesday premiered on the streamer in late 2022 and quickly became a fan favorite.
Lady Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, even participated in the show’s viral TikTok dance, which revived the musical artist’s 2011 song Bloody Mary.
Then, at the 2023 Golden Globes, Ortega talked about Variety who hoped Gaga would join the show’s second season.
“I’m sure Netflix would love it,” the You star shared.
He even came up with a narrative, adding, “I think Ms. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or understood each other in a certain way, so if Lady Gaga was a part of it, I think it would have to be like that.” They will be two monsters who understand each other.
Recently, Gaga showed off her acting skills when she starred in Joker: Folie à Deux alongside Joaquin Phoenix, which failed to impress audiences.
Wednesday stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Adams, Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gómez Addams and Issac Ordóñez as Pugsley Addams.
