Netflix fans have hailed a “brilliant” action film as “one of the best” films of the genre they have seen.
In a post on the Netflix Bangers Facebook group, which has more than 3.2 million members, a user asked for an “honest review” of a popular action movie.
Responding in the comments section, other users urged the original poster to watch the movie, stating, “It’s extremely good.” I love the vengeful rage in his eyes. Just look at it.’

Reaction from critics was mixed, with 70% of reviews positive from 175 critics with an average rating of 5.9/10 on aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
Meanwhile, Metacritic gave the picture a score of 54 out of 100, based on 37 reviews, indicating “mixed or average” reviews.

Filming took place on Kingsferry Bridge for the scene of the confrontation between Adam Clay and Mickey Garnett (David Witts), which leads to Garnett being tied to a truck and thrown into the murky waters of the Swale estuary.
Further footage was also filmed in Tyringham, near Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, in October 2022 at Tyringham Hall, a private 18th-century stately home in the village.
The historic estate appears in the film as an American embassy, and an American flag could be seen flying from the house as film crews and helicopters surrounded the site, according to Edinburgh News.
Tyringham Hall has been the setting for several films and series in the past, including Killing Eve, starring Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, and Gambit, with Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman and Colin Firth.
A location on Jermyn Street in Westminster, London, was also used for the film’s shots, taking the form of a high-tech call center based in Boston, inhabited by antagonist Derek Danforth (Josh Hutcherson).
The actor was spotted on the streets of London in November 2022 as he continued filming scenes for The Beekeeper.
