Unfortunately for the trio, their successful robbery attracts the attention of the store manager after he recognizes Annie, played by Whitman, as one of the robbers.
The mothers subsequently become embroiled in a series of gang heists, debts, secrets and family crises.
The show, which ran for four seasons between 2018 and 2021, received mixed reviews on other websites.

A verdict for the show on the popular aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes read: “Good Girls’ plot may not be entirely believable, but the strong performances from its lead actresses are.”
Meanwhile, Metacritic gave the show a score of 60 out of 100, based on summaries from 22 critics, indicating “mixed or average reviews.”
Created by Mad Men star Hendricks, the show was said to have been cancelled, according to inside sources, due to difficulties regarding contract negotiations for cast member Manny Montana.
Sources from the series, NBC and Universal Television, spoke with TV Line following the cancellation of the show, which occurred halfway through its fourth season and with five episodes remaining to air.
A source noted at the time that Montana was not interested in taking a pay cut for the series, amid a “tense working relationship” with Hendricks.
