Netflix fans are excited about a “top tier, ten out of ten” movie and are urging everyone to “stop what you’re doing and go watch it.”
Released in 2009, the action thriller was directed by F. Gary Gray, who also directed Straight Outta Compton and The Italian Job.
Its writer, Kurt Wimmer, directed sci-fi greats like Equilibrium, UltraViolet, and the 2020 remake of the supernatural horror Children of the Corn.
The pair joined forces for a film that fans are now calling the “best ever” since it hit Netflix.
Law Abiding Citizen follows Gerard Butler’s character, Clyde Shelton, who is ruthless in his quest for revenge against the people who slaughtered his wife and daughter in a home invasion.
But it’s not enough to satisfy his need for retribution, so he simultaneously goes after the police officers, including lawyer Nick Rice, played by Jamie Foxx, who couldn’t do justice to Clyde’s satisfaction.

The film’s star-studded cast also includes multi-award-winning actress Viola Davis, who plays the mayor, Leslie Bibb, who plays Rice’s assistant Sarah Lowell, and Bruce Gill as District Attorney Jonas Cantrell.
On LADbible’s Netflix Bangers page on Facebook, one movie buff said, “Shot Caller was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen on Netflix. Any more films like this?’
‘It was decent. I think the law-abiding citizen is a tad better,” another recommended.
‘Both are really good!’ a third agreed.
Some took to social media site X to talk about the action thriller after watching it on Netflix.
One wrote: ‘Law Abiding Citizen is a top 10 movie of all time.’

Others said it’s a “phenomenal film” that “doesn’t get enough credit” and called it “top notch.”
