A left-wing political analyst for embattled network MSNBC sensationally claimed she could end up “in a field” if Donald Trump returns to the White House.
Molly Jong-Fast, the journalist daughter of authors Erica Jong and Jonathan Fast, has been openly anti-Trump in the run-up to the election.
His most damning criticisms have focused on Trump’s immigration policy. He has promised to undertake the largest mass deportation of illegal immigrants in US history.
“Trump is telling us all about his potential plans: internment camps, going after his domestic and foreign enemies, including, presumably, journalists,” Jong-Fast wrote in an article published in Vanity Fair titled “We all have a lot to lose if Trump win.”
She asked, “Will I be one of them?”

Jong-Fast accepted in his article that it is “difficult to understand” what he is suggesting, but said there is “a world in which Trump imitates his strongman friends like Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orban or Kim Jong Un.”

“Well, Trump has talked about up to 20 million undocumented immigrants, an operation of staggering scale that will be “bloody.”
In another interview with Public Notice, Jong-Fast reportedly said: “He wants to make concentration camps.”
‘They may not imprison us immediately, but we will no longer have a country to protect us. We will be a kind of stateless people.’
Writing about possible deportation camps, Jong-Fast said there could be “blue state governors (who) would be strong enough” to argue against the construction of such camps.
“Maybe the fields would only be in red states,” he mused.

“While we don’t know precisely what a second Trump term will look like, it will surely be chaotic and bleak, and could mark the end of something we certainly don’t want to lose: democracy as we know it.”
The extraordinary claims sparked a fierce reaction from Trump fans on X.
One critic said: “There will be a separate camp for nepo babies.”
Another said: “As good as it sounds, it’s completely absurd.”
“No one is going to be interned in camps when President Trump returns to the White House.
