Former Waratahs and Crusaders winger Nemani Nadolo knocked out his little brother with a single punch after a family dispute broke out during boozy birthday celebrations.
Nadolo was toasting his 36th birthday with wife Kimbly Wright and younger brother Inosi at the couple’s $4 million home in Cammeray, on Sydney’s north shore.
But during the birthday celebrations, around 10pm on January 27, a violent argument broke out because Inosi was still living with the couple and their young son in the three-bedroom house.
Inosi, 23, played as a winger for Montpellier in France before returning to Australia to live with his brother when he signed for Norths Rugby at nearby North Sydney Oval.
Suddenly, Nadolo attacked and landed a left hook to his brother’s face, knocking him senseless and splitting his face open, court documents revealed.
The force of the punch was so strong that doctors later discovered that Nadolo had broken two bones in his hand.

Inosi was instantly knocked unconscious and hit his head on the ground as he fell, where he remained unconscious for 30 seconds, Manly Local Court was told on Tuesday.
Police and paramedics were called to the house and Nadolo, 195cm tall, confronted officers outside, where he admitted hitting his 180cm brother and was arrested.
Both brothers and Nadolo’s wife refused to comment, but Inosi confirmed to police that he had been punched before both men were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Doctors told Inosi that the 2cm bleeding cut on his eyebrow needed stitches, but he refused further treatment.
Nadolo, cousin of Wallabies and NRL star Lote Tuqiri, was ordered to remain in hospital until police served him with a domestic violence order.
He was later rearrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station, where he was charged at 2am on January 28 under his Fijian birth name, Ratu Nasiganiyavi.
In addition to New Zealand-based Super Rugby teams Crusaders and the NSW Waratahs, Nadolo previously played for English Premiership side Leicester Tigers, Montpellier in France and NEC Green Tigers in Japan, as well as 30 caps for Fiji.
