Neighbours star Sarah Ellen goes Instagram official with new comedian  boyfriend Matt Ford

Sarah Ellen has shared an update on her love life.

In a post on Instagram last week, the Neighbors star announced her new boyfriend.

The 27-year-old cuddled up to inspired unemployed comedian Matt Ford in a series of black and white photo booth snaps.

She captioned the cute set of photos with a simple rock emoji, while Matt wrote in the comments, ‘Houston we have a problem’ along with a heart emoji.

It seems the actress’ famous pals are happy about the new romance, with celebrity sexologist Chantelle Otten commenting: “There they are,” along with a string of heart-eyed emojis.

‘Cuuuuuuteee!!!!!’ wrote Jade Yarbrough, while Pip Edwards added heart-eyed emojis to show his support.

The Inspired Unemployed are an Australian comedy duo consisting of Ford and Jack Steele.

They are best known for their satirical Instagram account, which boasts two million followers.

Ellen previously ended her five-year engagement to musician Caleb Jackson, quietly announcing the news last year.

“A lot of people don’t know this, but I was engaged for five years and I kept it incredibly quiet,” she shared Elle Magazine.

‘It’s clear we’re not together anymore. But I kept it private, the high, the low, I was just conscious of protecting it.

“I don’t feel the need to publicize (it), but coming out of such a long-term relationship that I had been in from such a young age… it was a really transformative part of my life,” she added.

Ellen said at the time that the split ‘triggered (her) initial growth journey’.

The star, who debuted her pixie cut hair last year after ditching her long blonde mane, has previously spoken candidly about the scrutiny her fame has brought her.

The actress, best known for her role in Neighbors as Madison Robinson, told Body+Soul magazine that criticism had an effect on her self-esteem.

“No matter how many people follow you on Instagram, body insecurity and body dysmorphia are issues that everyone goes through,” she said.

‘It was interesting to be a young girl and have people comment: ‘Look at her knees; look at her feet,” she added.
