Australian actress Bonnie Anderson and her husband Samuel Morrison have put their stylish, renovated Melbourne estate on the market for $1.8 million.

The former Neighbours star, 30, bought the wooden Mornington Peninsula property in 2021 and has spent the past three years significantly renovating it.

The two-story home features sleek contemporary architecture including spacious rooms, high ceilings, sturdy hardwood floors, a sizable balcony and an outdoor pool.

Located in the tourist suburb of Rye, it is close to a variety of amenities and stunning panoramic views, making it the perfect home for small families.

Bonnie described to him Real estate.com.au some of the extensive renovation work they had undertaken and explained: “We really changed everything.”

“We added the downstairs area and opened up the stairs. We created a more fluid space, with lots of light and open living areas.”

She continued: “I love the oak surfaces and all the windows in the house. Listening to the roar of the ocean at night is also one of my favorite sounds of living there.”

The property is expected to generate a lot of interest from potential buyers, due to its unique appearance and desirable location.

The lovebirds have put it on the market with a target price of between $1,725,000 and $1,825,000.

This makes the home slightly more expensive than the average property value in the area.

The quaint home, described as having “quirky charm,” has five bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Bathrooms come complete with freestanding tubs and underfloor heating for those cold winters.

One of the bedrooms on the upper floor opens onto a balcony with magnificent views.

Listing agent Adam Vocale of Jellis Craig Rye said his restoration work added significant value to the home.

“There is a difference between houses that have been prepared for sale and those that have been prepared for living in,” Vocale began.

‘This property will be in demand from people who want a finished product rather than something they have to make themselves.’

Bonnie played Bea Nilsson in Neighbours from 2018 to 2021, won The Masked Singer in 2020 and currently hosts Channel Nine’s lifestyle show Postcards.

In November 2023, Bonnie married landscaper Samuel Morrison and the couple share a one-year-old son, Bobby Ray.
