An innocent couple living in the house of a former Hells Angels bikini have revealed the terrifying moment when their neighbor's house was shot at.

The young couple had only lived in Carrara, on the Gold Coast of Queensland, for two weeks before waking up early in the morning to the sound of bullets.

The pair believes that the incident may be related to warfare between the previous owner of the house, Ben Geppert, and other members of the motorcycle gang.

They had only just fallen asleep before they heard a series of gunshots that littered their neighbor's house.

The man initially thought the sounds were someone banging on the door and not realizing it was bullets until the police arrived at their door.

& # 39; I was terrified. I knew they weren't normal noises, & the woman told The Gold Coast Bulletin.

& # 39; We just moved. It is now about two weeks ago. I have had the worst experience so far. It has not been good. & # 39;

The pair said they thought rival bikies had mistaken Geppert's house for the neighbor and tried to scare & # 39; & # 39 ;.

The man said their neighbors had not suffered any damage but were rattling after the gunshots were fired.

& # 39; They know that no one would want to hurt them, so the only possible scenario is we, or the people who lived here, and we don't know anyone here & he said.

The garage door was open at the time of the gunshots, and the man said he waited until the early hours of the morning for someone to enter the house.

The residence was shot five times with the shooter supposedly hiding behind a car before fleeing the scene.
