She is now a bilingual newscaster for the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
Neighbor fans would be forgiven for not recognizing the 39-year-old today, as her sleek, professional look is nothing like the curly-haired schoolgirl she used to play.

“Someone sent me this blast from the past on Twitter,” Rebecca wrote in the caption. ‘Why were the 90s so cruel? Mom and dad look cute though.
Neighbor fans were quick to share their excitement over the flashback snaps, with one commenting, “That’s how I remember you when I saw you.”
Another said ‘the photos should be appreciated’ but maybe ‘not the hat’.

Rebecca joined the cast of Neighbors in 1992 when she was eight years old. She was written out of the show in 1999, but returned briefly for a cameo appearance for her 20th anniversary six years later.

She also had a short-lived role as a backpacker on the British soap opera Coronation Street.
After a decade of living in Europe and America, he returned to Australia in 2011 to study Political Science and Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne.
She got her start in journalism at ABC as a news and current affairs producer, before emigrating to Germany to join Deutsche Welle in Berlin.
