Zion Williamson recently announced that he and his girlfriend are expecting a child, and it’s possible there’s another big life change coming this summer for the former No. 1 overall pick.
The Pelicans, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, want to draft Scoot Henderson but are ill-placed to do so at the minute with the 14th pick. Henderson is expected to go no later than No. 3 overall.
It means what would once have seemed unthinkable – making Williamson available – could be on the table in order to get Henderson.

Williamson and her stepfather, Anderson Lee, visited the school to acknowledge the donation, and Lee gave an unexpected speech at the event.

“There haven’t necessarily been any offers made yet, but it really doesn’t make you jump too high to wonder…and the league is certainly wondering if the Pelicans are going to make Zion Williamson really available before the draft for the first time. next week,” he said on “Get Up”.
The NBA draft will take place on June 22 in New York.
