NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to make more than $48 million this season, but he clearly still appreciates a good deal as he was spotted in the “off-price” section of a New York City Target on Saturday.
The Bucks star, who recently returned from the Paris Olympics, was spotted at a FiDi branch of the retailer doing some shopping.
And one observer even told Mail Sport that the ‘Greek Freak’ likely used his Target rewards number at checkout.
Antetokounmpo has earned more than $234 million in on-court earnings, Spotracand also has sponsorship deals with Nike and Google Pixel.
He has also invested in Nashville SC and the Milwaukee Brewers, among other business ventures in which he has invested money.

Antetokounmpo posed for a photo with a fan while shopping at a Target in FiDi.
The 29-year-old grew up in extreme poverty in Athens after his parents emigrated to Greece from Nigeria.
And he doesn’t shy away from the fact that he’s more cost-conscious than many NBA stars.
“For me it’s cheap, yes. I don’t care, I don’t care about the material,” he said. Serge Ibaka’s ‘How hungry are you?’.
“But for my family, no. When it comes to my family, I give them more than I give myself.”
His former teammate Brandon Knight was remembered in 2014 Grantland Feature that a young Antetokounmpo would take home “six or seven” boxes of free food from the Bucks’ players’ lounge.
He recently returned from the Olympic Games, where his Greece team lost to Germany in the quarter-finals.
There is also a now famous anecdote that was told to Sports Illustratedin which rookie Antetokounmpo was seen running into the Bucks’ arena (until a couple spotted him and gave him a ride) on game day, after having sent money to his family in Greece and realizing he had reached his ATM limit.
The humble big man saw his Greece lose in the quarter-finals to Germany at the Olympic Games.
The Bucks open their season on October 23 against the Bucks.
