Naya Rivera’s son Josey has been doing “better every day” since his mother’s untimely death
Just over a month after the tragic death of actress Naya Rivera, her four-year-old son Josey begins to heal himself.
The Glee star was reported missing on July 8, with the 33-year-old’s body being discovered on Thursday.
The four-year-old ‘is doing better every day’ according to a source Entertainment tonight.

The source added, “This has been an incredibly difficult time for her family and loved ones.”
Josey has lived with his father, Ryan Dorsey since his mother died, and Rivera’s sister Nickayla has been ‘very involved’ and has spent a lot of time with Josey.
Although it’s only been a month since his mother died, sources add that Josey is “ doing fine, ” and some days he seems like an ordinary happy kid. ‘

Yet Josey understands that his mother will not come back and understands the ‘finality of death’ from an early age.

Naya was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on July 24, with the death certificate confirming the cause of death had drowned.
The death certificate also stated that she died within “a few minutes” and that there were no other major factors that contributed to her death.
