- Glamorous couple visits Big Mango in Queensland
- Cleary and Fowler are on a romantic road trip to FNQ
Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary found time for another quick getaway, with the glamorous couple stopping at the iconic Big Mango on their festive road trip to Far North Queensland.
The Panthers captain and his Matildas star girlfriend take every opportunity they can to spend time together when the stars align and they both have time in their busy schedules.
Fowler is back in Australia during his break from his Manchester City duties while Cleary recovers from recent off-season shoulder surgery.
On Monday, the couple stopped in Bowen to take a photo at the famous Big Mango, which is a busy tourist attraction during the festive period, as they headed north towards Cairns, where Fowler grew up.
The 10-metre-high fiberglass shaft weighs five tonnes and is a selfie hotspot, attracting around 80,000 visitors each year.
“We average 300 people a day,” said visitor services coordinator Glenn Burling. News Corporation.

The sporting couple also took a trip to Burleigh Heads in December as they both had a break from their hectic schedules.
Fowler and Cleary’s romance appears to be going from strength to strength more than a year after their relationship became public.
“It’s mainly a mix of people going to Townsville for Christmas, or people from Townsville going south.”
Burling said the sports power couple was certainly recognized when they arrived.
“When they walked in, absolutely everyone recognized them and was happy to take a photo,” Burling said.
In December, the couple organized a romantic getaway to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.
The Panthers playmaker posted a series of photos from his trip, including shots of a forest walk, a sunset and a stop at Tallebudgera Creek.
It is understood that it will take Cleary between three and four months to be fit enough to return to full training, but he has been gradually increasing his physical load of late.
“It’s about a three or four month recovery, so it’s been good so far,” he said.
“I’m checking the boxes little by little, and then it will start to ramp up after Christmas,” Cleary said.
Manchester City star Fowler (pictured in action) is back in Australia for a few weeks over the festive period.

“I’m a little ahead of schedule, which is great.”
It comes after Fowler was ruled out of the Matildas’ international matches in November against Brazil and Chinese Taipei.
In making the decision, Fowler cited the need to look after his physical and mental wellbeing, having had a busy start to the 2024-25 season with both the Matildas and Manchester City.
Since returning to action, Fowler has been in great form for City, having scored several goals. He will return to his club’s field on January 13.
