Natasha Lyonne looks dreamy in a white ensemble for the cover of LA Confidential … while she talks about her struggle with addiction
Natasha Lyonne is making a furore with her role on Orange Is The New Black and most recently as co-creator and star of the recent popular Russian pop from the Netflix series.
But it wasn't always a smooth ride for the 40-year-old actress.
In an interview for the July LA LA Confidential from Modern Luxury, the cover girl becomes real and tells about her struggle with addiction and how actress and old friend Chloe Sevigny helped her through some dark times on her way to sobriety.

Lyonne is the photo of retro glamor and beauty, with a modern twist, for the cover of the magazine.
Dressed in a stylish white ensemble that resembled the style of the roaring 1920s, the New York City resident looks relaxed while leaning back on a white-patterned lounge chair.
Stylists added to her old-school siren screen look by having her ginger locks stylized in a curly shoulder-length bob and a section on the light left.

Dark times: Lyonne suffered from heroin addiction and a number of health problems in 2005
It took a lot of effort and soul searching for Lyonne to find her inner beauty and reclaim her career in Hollywood.
After a series of teenage roles, including Slums Of Beverly Hills and American Pie, the actress slowly began to spiral down.
In 2005 she developed a heroin addiction and had a number of serious health symptoms, including a collapsed lung and hepatitis C.
& # 39; That period triggers a number of contextualizations in terms of my position today and the way in which I had to adjust to become a member of the living & # 39 ;, she admitted in the LA Confidential interview.
Triumphant return! The actress, 40, resurrected her career with her role on Orange Is The New Black in early 2013
It was Sevigny who came in countless times to get and keep Lyonne sober. Lyonne called her the & # 39; one consistent figure that with me through the & # 39; stood for & # 39; chapter. & # 39;
& # 39; In my early days to get clean, Chloe would appear in an extra large Morrissey T-shirt to make sure I would leave the house & # 39 ;, she revealed about her friend of more than 20 years .
& # 39; We would go to the beach. She would peel off in bikini. I'd sit black in eight layers and smoke a cigarette, & # 39; I'm out in the sunlight, okay? What else do you want from me? & # 39;
With the help of Sevigny, who sometimes had to vouch for her ability to appear for longer projects, Lyonne saw her career resurrected in 2013 with her role at OITNB.
In her latest Netflix hit, Russian Doll, she plays a woman who repeatedly dies and relives the same night in a continuous time course.
