Natalie Portman, 39, barely aged a day as she shares a throwback photo taken in the Blue Mountains 20 years ago
She embraced life in Australia while shooting Thor: Love and Thunder.
But Wednesday, Natalie Portman flashed back to an earlier journey Down Under, when she filmed Star Wars: Episode II in Sydney in 2001.
The 39-year-old appears to have aged barely a day since the photo was taken, in which she posed with her co-star Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks in the much-maligned trilogy.

In the faded photo, the Oscar-winning actress wrapped her arms around Ahmed while gazing out at the iconic NSW mountain range.
The Black Swan star captioned the post: ‘Throwback to the Blue Mountains with my forever friend @bestahmed – while shooting Episode 2 in Sydney 20 years ago! #maythefourthbewithyou. ‘
The mom-of-two’s post was posted on May 4 in the US – an important date for Star Wars fans given the audible resemblance to the movie’s famous line ‘May the Force be with you’.
Natalie played Padmé Amidala in George Lucas’ highly anticipated prequel trilogy, which was mostly filmed in Sydney.

Ahmed played the controversial character Jar Jar Binks in the sci-fi series.
Much criticism of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and its sequels has focused on Jar Jar’s perception as a racist caricature.
While the character was largely computer generated, with Ahmed providing his voice and overall movements, the actor has admitted taking the backlash personally.
The mother and child star, 47, previously revealed he was contemplating suicide after the release of Episode I in 1999.

Natalie, meanwhile, currently lives in Sydney and has largely gone unnoticed as she easily fits in with the laid-back locals in trendy areas around the Eastern Suburbs.
She has also been spotted in the stands at various football events recently, having attended an NRL match in Sydney last month alongside fellow A-listers Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky.
Natalie will reprise her role as astrophysicist Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder – the fourth move in the superhero franchise – and her character will be given the same powers as Thor.
The film is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
