The body of a woman has been found floating in water near a walking trail in Melbourne.
The body was discovered near The Esplanade in Narre Warren South, southeast of Melbourne, on Tuesday morning.
Victoria Police have yet to formally identify the woman.
The woman’s death is under investigation and police believe there was no foul play.
“It is not believed to be suspicious at this stage,” a Victoria Police spokesman said.
