Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was rescued by the Coast Guard off Nantucket after becoming stranded at sea, he revealed Monday.

Portnoy had planned to take his mother for a boat ride, but discovered his boat’s engine and brakes were dead after removing his vehicle from the buoys.

At the time, the 47-year-old man was unable to control his boat as it floated in the sea and also did not have a working radio.

“There was no electricity, no radio, no anchor, nothing. There were very strong winds. And before you knew it, Captain Dave was lost at sea,” he said in a video posted on social media.

He said in the video that he lit a distress flare before a woman noticed his calls for help and boarded her boat.

Incredibly, Portnoy says the woman asked if the couple could film a TikTok video together before calling the Coast Guard herself.

From there, “four burly guys” came to his aid and towed his boat back.

“Captain Dave had to be halfway there to fuck up the Caribbean,” he said, adding earlier in the clip that “his boys almost lost Captain Dave today.”

The Coast Guard confirmed the episode in a statement to Boston.com.

“Sector Southern New England received a report from U.S. Coast Guard Station Brant Point that an approximately 28-foot recreational vessel belonging to Dave Portnoy had broken loose from its mooring in Nantucket Harbor and was adrift in the area,” they said.

Portnoy’s rescue at sea comes after he insisted “evil” Donald Trump will easily win the election after surviving an assassination attempt.

The former president and Republican candidate was quickly removed from the stage by Secret Service agents on Saturday during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after gunshots were heard in the crowd.

Portnoy was adamant over the weekend that Donald Trump would easily win re-election after surviving an assassination attempt.

Portnoy revealed he was on a flight when the incident occurred but, when he landed, insisted Trump would now easily win over rival Joe Biden.

Barstool’s sports boss posted on X: ‘Just landed and missed a date attempt. Holy crap! What a bad reaction from Trump. The election is over. He’s the next president. Democrats should just give up. They can’t beat him now.’

“We can also put aside the hatred on both sides. This country is tearing itself apart. Let the voters decide. Just because you vote for one side or the other doesn’t make you Satan.”
