Naked and Afraid star Sarah Danser has tragically passed away following a car accident at the age of 34.
The reality star was involved in a crash on Sunday in Kahala, Hawaii, according to Honolulu police and KSLA.
Police reported that a man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked car. Danser, a passenger, was hospitalized in critical condition and died on October 22.
Authorities indicated that speed was a factor in the accident, but that no drugs or alcohol were involved.
‘Magical is the way to describe it. Sarah had this positive energy that really filled the environment she was in,’ her brother, Jake Danser, shared with the news station.

Sarah’s father, Dan Danser, added: “I actually saw what a big difference she made in the lives of others. I think she once saved my life while diving in Indonesia.
Her Naked and Afraid co-star Melissa Lauren expressed her sadness, stating, “Sarah was (one of) the most adventurous souls I’ve ever met.”
“She was not only a fierce survivor on Naked and Afraid (she completed XL in South Africa with me), but also a breast cancer survivor who maintained an inspiring and positive attitude throughout her treatment.”
Lauren went on to describe Sarah’s love of the ocean and nature, calling her a “modern-day pirate.”
It also highlighted how Sarah saw the world with childlike wonder.
“Rest easy Sarah, I know you’re exploring somewhere,” he concluded his post.
Island Divers Hawaii, where Sarah worked, shared a heartfelt tribute on their Facebook page on October 24.
‘With a heavy heart as we say goodbye to a good friend and great captain. Sarah brought great energy to everyone she came into contact with. We will miss you very much,’ his post said.
Tim Mason, a friend and fellow diver, expressed the community’s grief over the loss.
He reminded the outlet how they would gather for large watch parties in support of Danser, inspired by his adventurous spirit.
Born in Castle Rock, Colorado, Danser had lived in Hawaii for about 12 years, according to the outlet.

In each episode, two contestants are left in extreme, remote locations without clothing, food or tools, and are tasked with surviving for 21 days using only their skills and a single survival item.
