Naga Munchetty gets mad at Charlie Stayt for ‘ignoring’ her on BBC Breakfast, not knowing it’s live on TV

‘Look at that…ridiculous!’ Naga Munchetty rages at her co-star Charlie Stayt for “ignoring” her while the segment airs on BBC Breakfast, and appears to be unaware that she is live on TV.

Naga Munchetty raged at her Charlie Stayt during Saturday’s BBC Breakfast while a segment was being broadcast, however she seemed unaware that it was live on TV.

The broadcast journalist, 47, directed her anger at her co-star, 59, insisting he was “ignoring” her, before ordering a member of the production team to “get him”.

His meltdown began when he told a guest they could “have a coffee” while the helmeted couple filmed a live cycling piece at Salford Quays.

She could be heard saying: ‘Again, ignoring me! Can someone go out and catch him? Please. Look… look at that. Ridiculous. Seriously, we’ve got an hour and a half of streaming left to do. Can someone go out and get it?

Addressing viewers once on camera, Naga said, “I’m going to get someone to bring Mr. Stayt back to the studio.” He will come back, trust me.

It comes just days after he accidentally said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson had “spent his first night in prison”, referring to Boris Becker.

The former Strictly star wrongly said the PM had spent a night in prison as part of a morning news bulletin, i.e. Becker, a former Wimbledon champion.
