Jordie posted on a popular fryer cooking group on Facebook saying he decided to whip up the simple dish on a whim after coming home late from work.
Similar to a lasagna, Jordie created layers of nacho chips interspersed with minced meat fillings, cheese, onion and a variety of other ingredients.
The Queensland locals said it was the ‘best nachos’ he has ever eaten and ‘can’t live without the hot air fryer’.
The online post received over 370 likes, and many agreed that the recipe is a great idea for a budget dinner.

To make the dish he also used bell pepper, nacho mix, tomato paste, salsa, beans, avocado, tomato, lime and guacamole next to it.
When making the meal, it is essential to place a sheet of parchment paper in the hot air fryer to minimize clutter and to easily remove the meal from the kitchen appliance.
Jordie first preheated the hot air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius, cooked the ingredients in a frying pan and then started creating the layers in the cooking gadget.

HOW TO MAKE NACHOS LASAGNE IN AN AIR CABINET
Ingredients (use as much as needed or desired)
- 500 g minced meat
- Nacho spice mix from woolies
- Tomato paste
- Baked beans again
- Guacamole spice mix from Woolworths
Cut the onion into small cubes and cook over medium to low heat, then add the ground beef
After a few minutes, add the nacho spice mix
After cooking, add tomato paste and 100 ml of water
Simmer until fully cooked
When everything is cooked, add beans and salsa
Prepare the guacamole
When the minced meat is cooked, put baking paper in the basket of the hot air fryer
Start with a layer of chips followed by the ground beef mixture, then cheese, and repeat until the basket is full
Cook at 180 degrees Celsius for five minutes until the cheese is completely browned
