A teenager who was found covered in dried blood after crashing his van while “drunk” has police scrambling to find out what happened.
Aaron Richard, 18, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police responded to a serious crash on FM 2871 near I-20 in Tarrant County, Texas, around 1:00 a.m. 55 am on Monday.
Officers responding to the accident immediately noticed that Richard was covered in a large amount of dried blood, which was also splattered all over his vehicle.

Streaks of blood could be seen along the side of the white van.
The vehicle is said to have been involved in a “serious accident” in the early hours of Monday.
Investigators noticed streaks of blood along the driver’s side of Richard’s white 1997 Chevrolet single cab pickup truck and in different areas of the exterior.
Officers also found dried blood inside the truck.
When asked where the blood came from and how he came to be covered in it, TSCO said Richard refused to explain.
Authorities are now asking anyone who saw Richard or the truck to contact the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver declined to say where the blood might have come from or how he got it.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash involving the truck.
The Sheriff’s Office did not say whether investigators believe anyone is in danger or has been killed.
Previously, Richard was serving a six-month probation sentence for a disorderly conduct charge in Haltom City.
He posted $500 bail on the Tarrant County Jail charge of driving while intoxicated.
A charge of driving while intoxicated could possibly affect his probation.
