A shocking nightly execution of a respected doctor who was shot and killed in the garage of his house in Brisbane shocked the Chinese community of the city.
Skin cancer doctor Luping Zeng, 56, was busy packing his car with the garage door open shortly before midnight on Monday.
A man stopped at the doctor's house in the prosperous MacGregor on the south side and shot the doctor once in the chest and fled the scene, while Dr.'s wife and daughters Zeng were in it.
Detectives have obtained important CCTV footage of a car driving away while the murderer remains on the run.

The 56-year-old car grabbed his car in the garage of his MacGregor house (pictured) with the door open when a man stopped in a light-colored sedan or hatchback and shot him in the chest
His family hurried to help him and paramedics treated the doctor on site before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he later died.
The police are investigating the fatal shooting and it is not yet known whether Dr. Zeng and his attacker were known to each other.
Detectives are looking for a man who, according to them, was driving a light-colored sedan or hatchback at the time of the incident.
Officers urge everyone in the area to bring out information or CCTV images.
Acting detective Steven McCartney said that the doctor's family did not witness the shooting, but the single shot heard from the inside.
"These are professional community members, they spend their time helping people, this is just a tragic event that took place," said Inspector McCartney.

Dr. Zeng had three decades of medical experience, spoke three languages and was a highly regarded member of the Chinese community in Brisbane.
The popular doctor previously worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery for 11 years before moving to Australia in 2000.
He obtained the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2006 and worked at the Waterford 7 Day Medical Center and Skin Cancer Clinic.
Dr.'s wife Zeng was also a doctor trained abroad and both daughters are currently training to become doctors.
The victim worked as a doctor in the Chinese community of Brisbane on the south side of the city
