Alarm bells rang for royal watchers when they recently spotted Queen Mary of Denmark’s youngest daughter sporting a cast.
Princess Josephine, 13, was photographed with two other girls while filming ‘Time Travel 2’, a Christmas advent series in Denmark set in 1994.
The teenager had been confirmed to play a small role in the series, but many were concerned when her schoolgirl character, Kate, appeared in two episodes with a broken arm.
While royal fans were delighted to see the young woman on the big screen, they were concerned that she had actually been hurt.
Josephine previously broke her arm riding a horse when she was just four years old.
This caused many fans to fear that his bone had been left weak and broken again.
However, the palace confirmed to Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet that the cast was simply a prop for the show and that Josephine is perfectly fine.
This is the second time Princess Josephine has tried acting. Last year he starred in a stage production of Peter Pan at Tivoli’s Glass Hall.
Princess Josephine shocked royal fans when she was spotted with a band-aid on her left arm last week.
The youngest member of the family cuts off his arm when he was four years old.
She was also due to play a role in the stage production of Pinnochio, but apparently disappeared from the cast.
Princess Josephine did not speak in her first on-screen appearance, but it is rumored that she will have some lines in the second episode.
The princess completed a course at the Fairy Tale Theater drama school in Søborg and dreams of pursuing a career in acting.
And it seems to run in the family, as Queen Mary once appeared on television in Australia.
In 1998, the mother of four appeared on a broadcast of V-Line Trains, a regional transportation company in Victoria.
In the short, fun commercial, Mary plays a passenger reading a newspaper while a fellow passenger next to her opens a packed lunch with some sandwiches.
Then he surreptitiously moves one of them to a huge briefcase in the luggage storage space above them. A hand emerges from the briefcase and takes it.
“Now it’s easier to get a friend on the train for free,” the ad says. ‘Two for One Ticket, during the month of May.’
But the images were not what they seemed, and they were part of the props for his screen debut.
Josephine’s paternal side of the family also has a penchant for acting, as her grandmother, Queen Margaret, has dabbled in the industry.
The former Monarch, who abdicated in January 2024, debuted on the big screen in 2009, as an extra in the film The Wild Swans.
The film is a remake of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale; He also worked on it as a screenwriter.
She has been highly praised for her work and won a Robert Award for her contribution to Ehrengard: The Art of Seduction, a Danish film produced by Netflix.
The story follows a shy prince and an expert who tries to teach him the art of seduction, but things go wrong.
Margrethe took home the title of Costume Designer of the Year for the film and posted about her success on Instagram.
