Mystery over the discovery of bodies in Lennon Parkway, Derrimut and Auburn Memorial Park in Sydney

In Melbourne, a man was found injured on Lennon Parkway, Derrimut (pictured), in Melbourne's west, at 4.20am on Saturday.

Investigations are underway in both Melbourne and Sydney after bodies were found in suburban parks overnight.

In Melbourne, a man was found injured on Lennon Parkway, Derrimut, in Melbourne’s west, at 4.20am on Saturday.

“Emergency services performed CPR on the man, however he died at the scene,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

‘The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and a crime scene has been established.

‘Homicide Squad detectives will also be on scene.’

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, dashcam footage or any other information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

In Sydney, emergency services were called to a park in Rawson Street, Auburn, following reports that a man was found unconscious at around 6.50am on Saturday.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended the scene and performed CPR on the man, believed to be in his 30s, but were unable to revive him.

The man has not yet been formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
