Brandi Elliott, 33, was booked into the Sumner County Jail without bail as she awaited facing first-degree murder charges for allegedly drowning her daughter, Piper, in Drakes Creek in Hendersonville.

“Jon will need as many donations as possible for funeral arrangements and basic daily needs; he only receives a small disability check each month,” she says.

Jon, who served in Iraq, also posted a tribute to Piper online, writing: “I will miss my little girl forever.”
