A mother of two has mysteriously vanished with her two young daughters, with police revealing a chilling theory about their disappearance.

Martha Unger, 23, and her daughters, Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, were reported missing from their home in rural Haskell County, Kansas, shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.

Just hours later, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued a “person in danger advisory” for the mother and her children.

The office later released its theory about the mother’s disappearance, saying she “may have been forced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation center with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen.”

However, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation says it wants to “check on the welfare of Martha and her children” and asks anyone with information on her whereabouts to “call 911 immediately.”

A family member also posted on Facebook that they are “praying that Martha and the girls come home soon.”
