A former model has spoken of her shock after finding out her wedding photographer secretly filmed her stripping years earlier when he had worked with her on a shoot.
Photographer David Glover, whom Michelle Pharo once considered a friend, hid a camera in an alarm clock in her studio dressing room and filmed her for 40 minutes as she changed during one of their sessions together.
The pervert, 48, he then agreed to film Michelle’s wedding, charging her the full price of £1500.
In March this year, Glover was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of voyeurism against 35 women.
Now Michelle, 39, who has bravely waived her right to anonymity, is speaking out to encourage other potential victims to come forward.

The events manager, from Essex, says: ‘David was my friend and I trusted him.
“The fact that he agreed to film my wedding, knowing that he had nude footage of me, is disgusting.
“I want other survivors to come forward if they think they might be one of David’s victims.”
Michelle became friends with Glover when she started modeling in her 20s. He photographed her in lingerie, bathing suits, and evening gowns for her modeling portfolio.
“David always made me feel comfortable and told me I looked good,” she said. “I always loved the photos he took of me.”
Thanks to Glover’s photos, Michelle landed modeling work for women’s fashion catalogs and car magazines.
Outside of filming, they kept in touch.
In 2015, Michelle’s partner Richard, 40, a marketing manager and DJ, went to a shoot to see her in action.

In 2021, Michelle saw a news article about Glover’s arrest for voyeurism.

Glover had photographed Michelle in her underwear, bathing suits, and evening gowns for his modeling portfolio.
“That day, I modeled several bikinis,” Michelle said. ‘I used the dressing room to change, which was small and messy.
‘As always, David was really charming.’
The following year, in 2016, Michelle and Richard got engaged and Michelle wanted Glover to be their wedding photographer.
She said: ‘Richard’s friend had offered to photograph our wedding for free, but I insisted on having David.
“When I asked him, he jumped at the chance and we agreed to pay him £1,500.”
In May 2018, Michelle and Richard got married.
Michelle recalls: ‘David was there all day and said how beautiful I looked.
“He emailed us the photos when we were on our honeymoon in Barbados. They were magical.
“We send them to all our family and friends and frame them in our house.”
But in March 2019, one of Michelle’s model friends had posted on Facebook about Glover, claiming he hid cameras in their dressing rooms.

Michelle hasn’t modeled since she discovered the movie and doesn’t plan on doing it again.

Michelle said: “I texted her and she said she had found a camera in the dressing room of a studio where she was filming with David.”
“When he looked back at the footage, he saw David setting up the camera.
“He was upset and I told him to go to the police.
“I convinced myself that since David and I were friends, there was no way he would have done that to me.”
Two years later, in 2021, Michelle saw a news article about Glover’s arrest for voyeurism.
The police found 900 videos of more than 100 women changing.
He had secretly filmed them hiding a camera in an alarm clock in their studio dressing rooms.
“Concerned that he had also filmed me, I immediately contacted the police,” she said.
“An officer asked me to send a picture of myself, along with the dates of when I had sessions with David.”
The same day, the officer emailed a picture of Michelle naked in a dressing room that she had to confirm.
He then called her to tell her that Glover had taken a 40-minute video of Michelle changing at the shoot she attended in 2015.
Michelle said: ‘I felt sick when I saw it. It was the filming that my husband also came to.
‘I told him and he was devastated.’
The following week, Michelle gave her statement to the police but sadly, Glover maintained his innocence.
More than a year later, in December 2022, on the first day of the trial, Glover pleaded guilty to five counts of voyeurism.
In March this year, he was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court to one year and eight months in prison.
He was also ordered to sign the 10-year sex offender registry.
Michelle said: ‘I prepared a statement that was read on my behalf.
‘David didn’t once look at me, but kept his eyes downcast.’
Michelle hasn’t modeled since she discovered the movie and doesn’t plan on doing it again.
‘Now, I can’t even go to the bathroom in public without checking for cameras.
‘David has made me doubt everything.
“And every time I look at my wedding photos, the happy memories are clouded by what he did.
‘Please, if you think you might be one of David’s victims, come over.
‘That pervert needs to learn his lesson.’
