My Mum, Your Dad will return to screens for a second season this fall, and by the looks of it, it’s going to be an emotional one.
The middle-aged dating series will once again put a twist on the traditional dating show as single parents search for love with the help of their adult children, including some exciting new twists along the way.
And in the first trailer for the ITV show, some of the cast members break down in tears as they watch a particularly emotional moment between two of the parents.
Meanwhile, things seem to be getting very hot when two of the parents share a passionate kiss in the bedroom, much to the horror of their adult children.
With host Davina McCall, 56, back in charge, she welcomes the parents’ children to the country house, where she declares they get to decide who dates who.

And as the dates progress, things take an emotional turn when mom Jenny breaks down in tears as she relives her past relationship, telling her friend, “I’m just used to being disappointed, that’s all.”
The confession provokes a moving reaction from his son Malachi, who is seen fighting back tears as his classmates console him.
Speaking about how this could be her last chance at love, Jenny said before the show: ‘I’ve exhausted everything, if I hadn’t been able to do My Mum, Your Dad there was literally nothing left.’
While the trailer also sees one of the moms crying as she shares a tender hug with another father.
But it won’t just be heartwarming moments in the series, as two of the singles will get up close and personal with each other.
The clip shows two people, wearing cowboy hats, kissing passionately, their silhouettes moving in unison.
Their adult children are clearly stunned by what they see, one turns and looks away, while another stands with his mouth open in shock.
One of the group then exclaims, “I didn’t see that coming!”

Hoping for a second chance at love, the parents spoke openly about what they were looking for before the show.
Vicky, whose daughter Angharad will be watching their exploits, shared: “I haven’t had any luck trying to find someone myself. If there’s a room full of people, I always tend to look for the wrong person!”
Meanwhile, Danny, on the show with his son Ellis, said: “I hope I meet someone who likes me. I don’t have to tick any boxes. I’m just looking for someone who likes me.”
