An influencer has claimed that her friends have decided not to invite her to their annual Christmas celebration because she has no companion and will “tempt their husbands and boyfriends.”
With almost a million followers on social media, Marina Smith, 34, from São Paulo, Brazil, has no shortage of male attention.
But the model believes that’s why her friends have left her out of their holiday dinner plans.
“I have been excluded from Christmas dinner because the women think I will steal their men,” Marina said.
“They’re worried it might tempt their husbands and boyfriends.”
And it was one of her friend’s boyfriends who informed the former Miss BumBum winner that she would not be invited.
Marina said: ‘The boyfriend of one of my friends told me that a WhatsApp group had been created aAnd I wasn’t into that.
‘He said that in the group chat, my friends were discussing their concerns about my presence at the dinner. Even considering not inviting me for fear that my beauty and single status would attract unwanted attention from their husbands and boyfriends.’

Speaking about her tumultuous love life, Marina, single since early 2024, said: “My last relationship didn’t end well, after the breakup, my ex-boyfriend even charged me for a coffee we shared during the relationship.
‘He always liked to divide everything.
“Sharing expenses wasn’t a problem, but it got to the point where it became exhausting and only lasted eight months.”
The 34-year-old model added: “I’m very selective about the men I associate with.
“I’m not in a hurry and I’m not a needy woman.”
But that doesn’t stop Marina from feeling disappointed by her friends.
She said: ‘Being single already limits my going out and traveling with friends, because now they go out with their partners.
‘But now me being single and beautiful is an insecurity for them!’

The influencer insists that she only uses makeup and clothes for herself, never for others.
Marian said: ‘I dress to feel good… the problem is not mine.
“It’s with men who think I’m ‘too beautiful to be real.'”
The model revealed that she intends to “confront” her friends and “tell them some truths.”
First of all, always respect other people’s relationships.
“I never made advances toward his partners,” he said.
‘I am a respectful woman, especially towards her relationships. I think it was jealousy on his part.
‘I used to blindly trust my friends, but apparently they didn’t trust me.
“It’s a shame because they’re going to lose the best friend they could have ever had.”

Despite the conflict over her image, Marina assures that she will not allow this to affect her Christmas.

“I think I would feel out of place, so I’m glad I know this now and not the day before Christmas.”
