“I would have said before that I want a big wedding with everyone there, but my circle is very small now and I want something intimate and beautiful, especially abroad, friends and family.

Ferne’s ‘circle’ has shrunk in recent years after falling out with former close friends Sam and Billie Faiers.

Both in their 30s, Ferne admits she bonded with Lorri, who is a father to son Noah, due to their previous “failed relationships” and that they both share children of the same age with previous partners.
Ferne said, “When I first met Lorri, I wasn’t looking for love. I went into my year focusing on being a mom until Sunday and as they always say, as cliche as it is, love finds you when you least expect it and that’s exactly what happened to us.
“I walked into the relationship and put all my cards on the table. Everything I’d ever hidden when I went on a date or I’d fit myself into a second date, I was just completely surrendered.
“I was like, this is me, this is where my life is and it was almost like warts and everything, here I am, take it or leave it.” Now I am pregnant and engaged.
“We met when we were both in our 30s, we both have kids the same age. We’ve both had our fair share of failed relationships… It just felt right and we wanted the same things.’
And the feeling is mutual, with Lorri explaining that he had a desire to rethink his partying lifestyle before meeting Ferne, who he says became his first girlfriend that really “fulfilled” him.

He said: ‘I lived a nice lifestyle in Dubai, working hard, partying and doing everything I wanted to do.
“But when I met Ferne, it was something I was always looking for. “I’ve been in relationships, but I’ve never been fulfilled, deep or proper, and meeting Ferne changed my world.
‘I got to the point where I stopped going out in Dubai and sitting at home reading books… I stopped doing a lot of things. And then I met Ferne.
“The universe was preparing me to meet her because six months before that I was still partying and going to and from Dubai and the UK. I was everywhere and it wouldn’t have worked, but I really settled down.”
Ferne and Lorri are not only engaged to be married, but today launched their first joint venture, a new wellness app called Shoorah.
The couple explained that after they both used different platforms to improve their mental health and well-being, they decided to create a subscription-based Shoorah, with features such as a gratitude journal, daily affirmations, and completing a regular life cleanse.
Ferne said: ‘It made sense for us to start a business and we put our brains together.
“I wanted to do something that was completely aligned with where I am now and purposeful… I think that was the birth of Shoorah.
“It’s a platform that helps others and is convenient and not overwhelming. We didn’t want to eat up even more of people’s time because it can be hard to keep up a habit.
“We’ve designed each feature so that people can use it at their own convenience and integrate it into their lives.”
Shoorah, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, costs £9.99 per month or if you pay annually it works out to £5 per month.
And Ferne, who has overcome several difficult periods in her life so far, says she hopes the app can help tackle the mental health epidemic, adding that it is the “ultimate self-development tool.”
She said, “Life is inevitable and it knocks on everyone’s door. And it’s all related to that person… stress, anxiety, trauma, heartbreak, whatever you’ve been through or are going through can be tough and all consuming, while we feel that with these tools, if you can do a small amount yourself . development that bends in your life, then that is so much better than doing nothing.
“You can tailor the app to what you want to work on personally, for example if you want to work on your relationships or your sleep, there are little sound bites to fine-tune your focus.”

More than a year in the making, the couple are celebrating Shoorah’s launch with a star-studded party on Thursday, as Ferne says the app is her biggest career achievement to date.
