An Australian woman who moved in with her partner was shocked to discover her “secret obsession” with a neighbor.
In a post on a women’s Facebook group, the distraught girlfriend was “bewildered” by her partner’s “deep hatred of his neighbor for no reason.”
The man insulted the neighbor at “every opportunity,” insulting her and making fun of her way of dressing.
“However, when I ask him why he hates her so much, he brushes it off and gets angry,” she said.
The bride’s suspicion turned to disbelief when she noticed that her partner had sent the neighbour a friend request on Facebook, despite claiming to hate her.
However, the boyfriend insisted that he only sent the request because he has “all the neighbors on social media.”
During a quiet evening, things went from bad to worse.
While watching a movie, the bride asked her partner to close the curtains.
His window gave a view of the neighbor who was outside at the time, and he refused to draw the curtains, scaring his girlfriend.
An anonymous Australian woman who moved in with her partner was shocked to discover her secret obsession with her neighbor.
The bride was inundated with advice from worried women.
“He likes her, she won’t give him a chance,” said one.
Concerned responses intensified when the woman revealed that she once “made a joke that he was obsessed” and that her boyfriend “seemed upset.”.
Facebook users did not believe the man’s excuses.
‘If I were you, I would wonder if he was really the man for me. In fact, I’d be tempted to go chat to her and find out what interactions she’s had with him,” said one.
They all agreed that the suspicious behavior “100 percent” meant “he had previously flirted with her and she rejected his advances, so now he is “hostile” and deflective.”
“This is giving me psychotic stalker vibes,” one said.
The anonymous person agreed and said it hadn’t occurred to him to ask how his partner even knew the neighbor’s full name for the Facebook friend request.
Two days later, she updated the group with the news that she had caught him staring at the neighbor from afar and also discovered his photo on his phone.
“I think maybe he’s stalking her.” I spoke to him about my concerns and they gave me a kick start, so that told me everything I needed to know. I also found a photo of her on her phone. Surely by God this is more than a little crush? I haven’t been back to her house since,’ she concluded.
‘I told him during an argument ‘anyone would think you were in love with her’ and he stayed silent. I do not know what to do now.’
