A woman has revealed her confusion and distress after discovering a “worrying” text message on her boyfriend’s phone.
The anonymous Australian noted that her boyfriend received a login code for Tinder, despite her claims that she hadn’t used the dating app in years.
In a now-viral post on Facebook, the distraught girlfriend revealed: “Okay, the thing is, my boyfriend got this text… I asked him about it and he says he hasn’t had the app in three years… What do you think?”
He attached a photo of his partner’s phone receiving two login codes for Tinder on a Friday afternoon.
The cryptic text message immediately raised suspicions, leaving hundreds divided.
While some attempted to offer possible explanations, suggesting it could have been a bug or the reactivation of an old account, others were quick to point out that this was a red flag.
She also shared that her boyfriend received an email from Tinder around the same time.
The situation took a heartbreaking turn in an update she shared just hours later: “Update: He admitted it after an hour of calling me crazy and making me feel legitimately psychotic and now I want to cry.”
