A music producer on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was fired after a singer said he was “ harassed in 2010 and tried to attack her. ”

Giovanni Cianci is accused of pinning musician Paige Stark to a wall during the incident at the CMJ Music Festival in New York after saying ‘no’ to his kiss.

Stark posted her story to Instagram last month. A source said Variety Wednesday: “Gio no longer works at the show.” He has worked with the host since 2017.

Stark shared an email she wrote to Cianci’s former boss Aram Goldberg at Lookout Management in 2017 detailing her allegations. Stark says she has had no response.

In it, she describes how Cianci tried to kiss her when they were alone in an elevator.

Stark says she said no before Cianci reportedly pinned her to a wall. He would then have followed her to a bar where Stark says a friend sent Cianci to leave.

She said he continued to “harass her on Facebook and text for several months.”

ViacomCBS lawyers are said to have contacted Stark after allegations. Cianci has not commented on the allegations.

She shares the email and writes, “Immediately after this event, he did not leave me alone. He followed me and my bandmate to a nearby bar and kept touching me and being in my personal space.

“I felt so unsafe that I had to call another manager I knew – a man to physically remove Gio.

“Later I heard more stories about Gio. I then told several friends and my friend, but was too scared to come out publicly. ‘

Stark added, “I blamed myself for not doing anything to justify Gio’s advances or aggression … I was young and scared.

“This event has damaged me so much that for a while I was afraid to use my own image to promote my music, play under aliases and name my band that no one would ever give me. I can’t be silent anymore.

His abuse of power was so great when he was an assistant in Lookout management, it makes me shudder to think of what he is now capable of as a music producer for the @colbertlateshow. ‘
