A notorious white supremacist has been arrested in connection with two murders and the shooting of a family’s horse as a “sacrifice” for their dead friend.
Brandon Gerner, 41, of Snohomish, Washington, was charged Wednesday with animal cruelty and first- and second-degree murder.
Delanie Greer discovered her beloved horse LeMon had been shot and killed outside her stable in Tacoma on December 17.
Gerner killed LeMon as a sacrifice to his friend Kody Olsen, who died after a shootout involving Pierce County police, prosecutors alleged.
Court documents revealed how Gerner and Olsen were involved in multiple white supremacist groups and are linked to another case in Maple Valley where two bodies were found in a roadside bush in November. KIRO 7 news reported.

“Every morning I have to reach out and remind myself that you are gone,” wrote LeMon’s heartbroken owner.
Gerner was charged along with another white supremacist and Joshua Jones in connection with the murders of Robert Riley, 57, and Ashley Williams, 34.
Jones was arrested on Feb. 7 in Seattle and Gerner was arrested on Friday in Tacoma, police said.
Olsen was also a suspect in the murders, but died from his injuries on December 12.
“My horse was shot three weeks ago on my parents’ property,” LeMon’s heartbroken owner, Delanie Greer, wrote on Facebook.
“Every morning I have to reach out and remind myself that you are gone,” Greer wrote in a heartfelt tribute to her beloved pet.
‘“People say you didn’t deserve this, but no living being deserves what happened to you,” he added.
Greer wrote after Gerner’s arrest: “He says he did it as a sacrifice, but in your death you linked him to another murder… even in death you are helping people.”
The arrest provided some relief, Greer told KIRO 7 News, adding, “There were a lot of people nervous because they thought it was going to be something that was going to start circulating throughout the county.”
‘We have a neighbor down the street who has a lot of horses. She was worried,’ she explained.
Greer and LeMon spent a decade traveling together around the country, competing in major competitions, including a recent victory in a world competition.
A friend gave LeMon to Greer when he moved to Montana sometime a decade ago.
The arrest provided some relief for Greer as she mourns the loss of her beloved pet.

He added: “Just finding out the circumstances and why it happened in the first place, as strange as it is, we don’t feel so bad now, knowing that it was a strange situation, just a strange nightmare.”
Greer and LeMon spent a decade traveling together around the country, competing in major competitions, including a recent victory in a world competition.
Gerner previously served 22 years in prison for a long record that included robbery, assault, illegal possession of firearms.
“Despite his conditions of supervision and six felony convictions that prevent him from possessing firearms, the defendant was found to be in possession of a semi-automatic pistol when he was arrested,” prosecutors said.
‘Based on his incredibly violent conduct in this case, his history of possession and recent possession of firearms, his criminal history, and his failure to comply with DOC conditions, the defendant should continue to be held without bail.’
A trial date has not yet been set.
