Murder suspect turns himself into a manhunt after the police have found the body of the missing woman in the trunk
A woman surrendered to the police in Tennessee at night in connection with the murder of her roommate in Florida, whose body was discovered Wednesday in the trunk of the suspect’s car.
Courtney Gibson, 27, was detained in her native Lebanon, Tennessee, on suspicion of killing 36-year-old Anna Primavere more than 700 miles away in Titusville, Florida last week.
According to researchers, Gibson worked as a babysitter for Primavere’s landlord in his house in the 4000 block of Trinidad Avenue in Titusville, where both women rented rooms.

Police believe on Friday that Primavere has noticed injuries to her landlord’s child and confronted Gibson with the alleged abuse resulting in her murder WFTV9.
Primavera was killed in what the police in Titusville called a “violent way” somewhere in the house between 7 p.m. and midnight.
The landlord of Gibson and Primavere, Zongmu Wang, has been arrested on unrelated allegations of child abuse
Gibson was seen on a Ring-doorbell camera that drove away early Saturday morning from the area with a mattress on the roof of her red Kia Forte.
Police said the mattress fell off the roof en route and then Gibson burned it on the side of the road.
When the Primavera family reported her missing Sunday, officers went to her house and discovered that her mattress had disappeared.
Investigators almost immediately called Gibson a person of interest in Primavere’s disappearance and launched a whisk for her.
On Sunday, the Tennessee authorities were able to track down the 27-year-old in her parents’ house in Lebanon, but allegedly refused to cooperate and did not allow her Kia Forte to be searched by officers.
On Wednesday, police received a search warrant for Gibson’s vehicle and discovered Primavere’s body in the trunk, officials said.
“Unfortunately for all involved, this ended in the worst scenario,” said Titusville police lieutenant Chris Deloach.

Gibson has been arrested at least six times since 2014 in her hometown of Tennessee for drug possession and assault
Primavere’s sister told it earlier WESH2 News that she had moved to the property on Trinidad Avenue two weeks before her disappearance.
Officials are now working to extradite Gibson to Florida to get charges.
The Titusville police also arrested Zongmu Wang, Gibson and Primavere’s landlord, for unrelated allegations of child abuse.
Online prison records in Wilson County, Tennessee, indicate that Gibson has been arrested at least six times since 2014, most recently a year ago, when she was arrested on charges of mistreatment and opposition to arrest.
Other counts in her record are drug possession, domestic violence and violation of probation.
