- Wants to hold cheaters accountable
Mummy blogger Constance Hall has blasted cheaters in a furious diatribe, claiming anyone who says they “just fell in love” needs a lesson in accountability.
The mother-of-six dismissed the idea of falling in love as “something that happens to us” and says it’s always a conscious choice.
The popular writer and entrepreneur further admitted that she was once “the other woman,” but said it was when she was young and she would never do it again.
If we could all just let go of the idea that falling in love is an inevitable thing that happens to us when the planets align and we just had no choice but to follow these universal commands. That would be great,” she said.
Constance’s tirade came about after she read an article about a woman who claimed she had a crush on her boyfriend’s husband for a year before finding out he felt the same way.
Constance Hall, 39, has berated people who cheat then claim ‘it just happened’
‘No. Falling in love is not something that happens to us. We happen to fall in love. We make the decision that we leave in the suggestion of “more”.
“We also know with a full conscience when we make that decision long before the overflowing feelings of lust drag us into obsession and possibly turn into love,” she scoffed.
She warned that infidelity only leads to pain.
Yes sh*t happens, it happens every day. But people get hurt, really hurt.
“One way to hurt them even more is to pretend that a power higher than all of us is the cause of that pain, when really it was just a decision by someone who wanted to make it,” she said.
The 39-year-old went on to explain that she doesn’t think cheating makes someone irreplaceable or bad.
She just wants people to face their actions and break the “sorry, I couldn’t help it” attitude.
Constance said she was very young when she had her affair with a married man and she “will never do it consciously again.”
“I’m really happy to know I’m in control of this decision,” she added.
And people quickly agreed with her.
“Love is an action. The feelings that come with it are amazing, but it’s always a choice to be loving or not,” said one woman.
‘Being consciously aware of our choices is central. We choose our actions no matter what they are, and they all have consequences for which we must be responsible,” another agreed.

“That’s why you’re the queen,” said a third.
In the Mommy confessional which angered Constance, the woman admits that she thought her friend’s husband was “rather ordinary” at first glance.
But then they started a trivia group and she realized he was funny and liked books – two qualities she wanted in a man.
She found herself looking forward to Tuesday night less for the trivia and more for the banter she got from her friend’s husband.
Soon, the woman’s friend gave up trivia, but her husband continued – and their friendship turned flirtatious.

At one point, he asked if she was hostile on many dates.
“I realized I had hardly thought about dating since I started hanging out with him. I knew then; I fell in love with him,” she said.
A few weeks later, they were the only two to go trivia – and he confessed that he had fallen for her.
She confessed the same and they were silent.
“Nothing has happened since then and I will not allow it, not as long as he is married to my friend and colleague. But now that I know he feels the same way about me, I feel turned on in a way I know I shouldn’t. Scared in a way that makes me want to throw up. And ashamed. Embarrassed that I feel this way,” she admitted.
