Biohacker Bryan Johnson has revealed one of the most surprising key ingredients in his daily anti-aging diet: chocolate.
But the health-obsessed billionaire looking to cheat death isn’t talking about the same candy most people might think.
The Californian tech mogul, 46, posted a video on YouTube in which he reveals he’s put his own spin on the sweet treat.
Johnson has made headlines for his controversial and relentless attempt to live forever, spending around $2 million a year on age-reversing regimens and calling it: “Project Blueprint.”
In a recent video, Johnson showed off another Project Blueprint favorite, a stack of chocolate, and joked about how much he’d eaten in the last “three years,” before clarifying that it wasn’t a Hershey’s block he was looking for.

The Californian technology mogul, 46, posted a video on YouTube in which he shares that he likes to eat chocolate from time to time. However, he has his own sweet touch to him.
“Sometimes we don’t do the things that are good for us,” Johnson explained.
“Today I’m going to show you that something that is good for us is something that we do want to do, and that is chocolate,” he shared excitedly.
Johnson, who runs a Blueprint store where he sells the products he uses in his anti-aging regimen, said he and his team “searched the world for the best cocoa possible.”
“We’ve measured them, we’ve tested them, and now we have a version available for you,” he gushed.
Johnson swears by cocoa and lists health benefits such as brain health, including executive function, long-term memory, and heart health.
Although he is a big fan of cocoa, Johnson says not all cocoa is created equal.
‘If you are looking to buy high quality cocoa, you should look for several things; one, it is pure cocoa; two is that you want it to be unedited; three, you want to test it for heavy metals; and fourth, you want high flavonol content,’ he shared.
Johnson said she used cocoa powder in her recipes, which she swore helped reduce her biological age by five years.
He recommends mixing it with nut milk or, like himself, incorporating it into your nutrient-dense meals.

According Medical news today, cocoa powder is rich in antioxidants and has several potential health benefits. These include helping to lower blood pressure and lower the risk of heart disease.
Blueprint cocoa sells for $39, and is recommended to be consumed with nut milk, coffee, or the brand’s own Nutty Butter.
Along with cocoa powder, the millionaire biohacker attributes extra virgin olive oil (or EVOO) as a key ingredient in his quest for youth.
It has launched some of its own as part of its Project Blueprint, claiming it also adds “spicy and fun” to all your food.
After spending $6 million in total to reverse his physical age, Johnson claims to have gone back five years.
The tech mogul also opened up about his skincare routine, sharing that he tries to minimize his time in the sun by venturing out only when he can, early in the morning or at night when the UV index is low.
According to the anti-aging biohacker, her long-standing skincare routine is working and has already turned back her age.
“My skin age was like 64 on one of the markers, and in my recent measurement I think it was between 37 and 42,” she said.
Johnson now claims to have the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old and the fitness of an 18-year-old after adopting the highly regimented program in 2020.
Her regimen includes consuming 80 vitamins and minerals a day and eating 70 pounds of pureed vegetables a month.
