I’m A Dad And I Take My Daughter To The Ladies’ Toilets, I Stand By My Decision But Some People Claim I’m Disgusting
- Father uses female toilets with young daughter
- Says male bathrooms are no place for little girls
A father is under fire for admitting to using the women’s bathroom when he is with his young daughter.
Muhammad Nitoto, a ‘daddy blogger’, claims that men’s toilets are ‘not set up’ for children, especially little girls.
He added that if you walk into a men’s bathroom with a small child, you hone in on every disgusting detail.
“The changing table was right next to the urinal, which means my kid would literally be next to where men pee, which she’s being charged with. Not to mention they are men going in and out while you are in them,” he wrote.
“After doing that once, I decided I would never take my daughter to the men’s room again,” he added.
So when he can’t find a family room, the proud dad waltzes into the women’s bathroom “to announce his entry” and divide opinion.

“They’re too young to go alone, so I have to go in with them. I try to be as respectful to women as I can when I do that, which includes knocking on the door before going in and announcing myself,” he said.
While many mothers congratulated him for doing the best for his baby, others argued that his actions were outright inappropriate.
“I’m not okay with it,” one woman complained.
“I have teenage daughters who would be very uncomfortable with that. Suppose he went in and no one was there, and my daughter came in and found a man there, that would frighten her.’
“I wouldn’t feel comfortable and would hate gender neutral bathrooms for this reason, people would riot if women started using men’s toilets just because the lines are shorter,” said another woman.
A third added, “He may be protecting his daughter, but who’s going to protect him from another irate dad who sees him walk into a bathroom where his daughter is?”
Fortunately for the influential content creator, most people were on his side.
“You asked how mothers feel…. Well, this mom thinks you’re a great dad who protects your daughter from being exposed to something she doesn’t need to be exposed to.
“Well done Dad,” said another.
“I’m with you, thank you for protecting your baby,” a third said.
Others admitted that they would rather their husbands take their children to the ladies’ room.
“I’ve asked my husband to do this and he refuses — he won’t be seen entering the woman’s bathroom, even if the man’s is disgusting.
And even some fathers thanked him for his courageous post.
‘Thank you for this. I have tried to tell my wife that men’s bathrooms are not for daughters and I have never felt comfortable taking her with the women until now,” one father wrote.
The dad’s post is from 2020 but has recently gone viral again, proving it’s still a tricky issue.
