A much-loved dad has been named as the man who died in a four-vehicle crash in Adelaide on Tuesday.
Motorcycle racer Kym Liebig, 58, was driving his black Suzuki home on South Road in Hindmarsh, in the inner city suburbs, when he was hit.
A white Holden Commodore traveling south reportedly crashed into a fence in the median strip, 7News reported.
The commodore allegedly turned onto the wrong side of the road and entered the path of the motorcycle and two other vehicles around 3.50pm on Tuesday.
Liebig got off his bike, witnesses said, and was then reportedly hit by a Mazda ute.
Emergency services tried to revive him when they arrived, but were unable to save him.
His distraught wife Prudence posted a tribute online saying: “While returning home my darling Kym was murdered.” He’s gone, I’m devastated.’
Mr Liebig was an experienced rider and well known in South Australian motorcycling circles.

The driver of the Commodore, a 44-year-old man from Park Holme, 8km south-west of Adelaide’s CBD, was arrested at the scene by Major Crash officers.
He was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and granted bail.
The man is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on March 19.
