Liberal commentator Joy Reid has blamed “white women” for the Democrats’ defeat in North Carolina.
Reid had been speaking on MSNBC’s election night panel when the key state swung in Trump’s favor.
She said: ‘In the end, they didn’t hit their numbers. We have to be frank about why black voters supported Harris and white voters did not.
‘That’s what seems to have happened in the state. That message was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris.
“This will be the second chance white women in this country will have to change the way they interact with the patriarchy.”

“Vulgarity in front of families with small children and threats of mass deportation and a violent start to his dictatorship from day one, whatever.”
After Trump called Florida earlier in the afternoon, Reid said, “It’s a pure Project 2025 in Florida in miniature.”
“Does that far-right, fascist-type government in Florida make it a more attractive place?”
