Never-Trump Republican political strategist Stuart Stevens says he believes the former president’s supporters will behave violently at the polls this November.
Stevens, one of the brains behind Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign who now advises the Lincoln Project, was responding to reports that 200,000 people volunteered for a pro-Trump election integrity organization called Protect the Vote.
He said MAGA fans are racist and will do anything they can to disenfranchise black voters, including trying to “burn down” polling stations.
‘Look, this is 100% about race. Let’s not pretend it is anything else. It has been from the beginning.’
stevens said MSNBC: ‘What they want is to win from election night until the inauguration. And if they can get in and violently disrupt these counting centers, how will states be able to certify the election? They burn a county center in Arizona, how does the governor certify those elections? What world are we in then?

Stevens, one of the brains behind Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign who now advises the Lincoln Project, was responding to reports that 200,000 people volunteered for a pro-Trump election integrity organization called Protect the Vote.
He added that most of the volunteers are trying to suppress the vote in cities with high numbers of black voters such as Detroit, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
‘Those who voted not to certify those elections were basically trying to disenfranchise millions and millions of black voters. It’s that simple.
Stevens believes MAGA fans are angry because “they can no longer stop black people from voting like they did in the ’60s with the same kind of success, although with these challenges to voters they are going to try.”
He believes “we really have to anticipate” Trump supporters wreaking “havoc” in the 2024 election.
Concerns about election integrity among Trump fans remain pronounced ahead of the November battle between the former president and Kamala Harris.
According to our new poll, a majority of Pennsylvanians are confident that the integrity of their recount will remain intact. But some Trump voters are skeptical.
Seventy-one percent of voters agreed that Pennsylvania’s election “would be conducted fairly and securely,” according to a new Daily Mail/JL Partners poll.
Only 20 percent of all likely voters in the survey said the election would not be held freely or fairly. Only nine percent said they didn’t know.

The survey of 800 likely Pennsylvania voters was conducted between October 5 and 8.
Thirty-five percent of Pennsylvania voters who plan to vote for Trump in 2024 believe the election will not be secure and fair, while 53 percent of them expressed confidence in the system. Twelve percent said they did not know.
The same number of those who voted for the former president in 2020 also consider that there is a risk of fraud.
Former President Donald Trump has urged his followers to “flood the vote” to avoid any type of electoral fraud.
“You’ve got to get your friends together and vote because, you know, they pull a lot of dirty tricks on this particular other side,” Trump told supporters at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, earlier this month, urging them to help him increase the score.
‘We cannot allow this to happen. We cannot allow this to happen again,’ he said.
Trump openly protested the 2020 election results in Pennsylvania, alleging that Democrats had used the mail-in voting system as a weapon for cheating.
The Trump campaign tried unsuccessfully to challenge the election results in Pennsylvania, alleging irregularities in mail-in voting.
